Earth Kingdom: Equius Zahhak

BENDERSTUCK

Equius Zahhak is a member of a wealthy family living in the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se. As the best blacksmiths in the entire Earth Kingdom, the Zahhak family has set up multiple successful shops within the Earth Kingdom's largest metropolitan areas. Naturally, Equius is just as skilled with his craft as he is with earthbending. However, his uncontrollable "strength" does cut into his finesse as a bender, and he's hoping that his training with a lithe, energetic airbender will help him learn not to be so stiff or heavy-handed with his earthbending.

As a nobleman, Equius believes that everyone in Ba Sing Se should behave according to their "place" in society. He's noticed that other cultures don't maintain their stucture the same way that his hometown does; the antics of supposed high class "waterbenders" irks him most particularly. Despite this disposition, Equius has found himself falling in love with a beautiful peasant from the Lower Ring.
