UPDATE: Well, Hurricane Fay will be reaching central Florida tomorrow, and my home will most likely lose its power. If that happens, I might not have Internet access for up to a week (I'm hoping otherwise). And so, I apologize in advance for the messages and journals I won't be able to respond to. I'm about halfway done with the next OIAI page, and I'll try to finish it before the hurricane cuts off my opportunity to post it.

First off, I have to apologize for neglecting many journals, deviations, and messages these past couple weeks. I haven't been on dA much lately, and I also visited my roomie for her birthday in south Florida. I haven't done much drawing either, but I promise to get started on the next two pages of OIAI soon. Of course, my summer will end soon as well, with the Fall semester starting on the 25th.

List ten things about your art, then tag ten people to do the same:

1. I got my account well before I began posting art, and I originally was planning on posting mostly original art rather than fanart. However, AP Drawing Portfolio in my senior year made me so sick and tired of drawing originals, that I began drawing fanart, and I couldn't stop. But I probably will post up some more originals in the future too.

2. My very first art muse was my dog, Missy. => (my most recent drawing of her ). I used to draw and write picture books about her "adventures" when I was a little girl.

3. I have little real art training. I've taken two art classes: the AP class (which provided little training, and it was more of a scramble to complete a portfolio more than anything) and it's "basics" prerequisite.

4. I have yet to experience art block. In fact, I suffer from its opposite: I have so many ideas that I have no idea which ones to do and when. I'll be watching a movie or listening to a song, and I'll come up with a new idea.

5. The moment I post up a new deviation, my eyes instantly pick out the mistakes or what looks bad. However, I'm usually too lazy or unmotivated to fix them.

6. I can take a long time with a piece.

7. I oekaki at Sakura-chan. If you're a Sakura fan, GO THERE NOW. Seriously. I have a couple drawings there that I have yet to post here, and I'll probably not post them all.

8. I'm not sure why, but I ALWAYS color the hair first and the skin last.

9. I'm terrible with paint of almost any kind. I wish to work on that, though.

10. Um, Deidara is one of my favorite characters to draw (obvious, I know, but I was running low on things to say).
