Finding the Balance

Why yes, this is older!KidLiz. And it is beautiful.

I will be beginning a new comic series called "Finding the Balance," which will focus on Kid and Liz as a dating/married couple (ages 22ish and 25ish respectively). Though, it'll be more humorous than romantic. Either way, it's about time I got some KidLiz in my gallery. It's my Soul Eater OTP, and it is seriously underappreciated (I'm working on it ).

Yes, I did draw Kid's Sanzu lines longer than they are in the manga. I have a theory that the Sanzu lines act like a Internet loading bar () in that it's progress around his head indicates his maturity as a Shinigami. Lame, I know, but I drew them longer so that it's more apparent that he's 9 years older.

In general, I had a tough time drawing Kid as an adult. I wanted him to look visibly older and manlier while still being the pretty boy he is.
