Deidara dear, that's not the proper way to hold a dog.

*ahem* Anyway, this is a fanart of the fanfiction I wrote a while back, A New Companion. Or, more like a sequel, since this takes place after the events of my story. And yes, that is my dog, Missy.

I really like this deviation, and not just because I actually am satisfied with the finished product. Interestingly enough, this piece features my current art muse (Deidara, which explains why I'm drawing so much Deidara fanart) and my very first art muse, Missy. When I was little, I used to draw Missy all of the time. Before then, I didn't draw much at all.

And now, I leave you all with a topic for discussion: which of the following would "lick" more things, a dog (notorious lickers) or Deidara (four tongues)?

If we were talking about Missy in particular for this question, than Deidara doesn't even match up against her. My dog employs her tongue frequently.
