I've been having a lot of difficulty responding to all of my messages (particularly the faves and the devwatches), so I thank everybody. I'm sorry that I can't do it personally, but I really do appreciate all of the support.

The deadline for contest entries is one week away from today, on the 19th of May. This is a heads-up for anyone that is finishing up an entry or planning on entering. So far, there are 47 entries, but there aren't enough for the Pervert!Deidara for me to split it into two contests. Therefore, it will remain as one contest (unless, by some random chance I am bombarded with Pervert!Deidara entries this week). On May 20th, I will post up a journal with the rules and details about the voting.

CONTEST: Deidara Heterosexual Pairings or Pervert!Deidara (he has to be perving over women, though). If there are lots of entries, I'll split it into two contests (so there will be 2 first places and so forth)

Prizes:
First Place- 3 month subscription, a feature in my journal, and a request art from me
Second Place- 1 month subscription and a feature
Third Place- A feature

Rules:
1. It can be any het Deidara pairing, and OCs are definitely allowed. Crossover characters are fine, too.
2. Multiple characters can be present.
3. All mediums are allowed. So, fanfictions, cosplays, 3D art, etc can be entered into the contest.
4. It must be a work submitted AFTER today. You can't submit old deviations. The purpose of the contest is to inspire more art.
5. It must be your own work. A wallpaper featuring someone's else's fanart or screencaps is not elligible.
6. No anti-yaoi fanart. This contest is about promoting het!Deidara, not bashing yaoi.
7. No bashing any pairing in your entry.
8. No Sexy no Jutsu, or other related trickiness.
9. You can submit up to 2 entries.
10. No mature art.
11. Anyone can enter the contest. You don't even have to be a watcher to join.
12. You can enter a coloring of either of my DeiSaku linearts in the contest, if you wish.
13. If you make a third entry, you can replace one of your other entries (but you have to choose which one, not me).


How to Enter
The deadline for entries will be May 19th. That will give you all two months to complete your entries. Send me a note with a link to your entry if you wish to enter.

Voting
Voting will begin on May 20th. Anyone can vote in the contest, even visitors who aren't watchers. Since I'm not the only voter, making a DeiSaku fanart won't necessarily win the contest. It could win my vote, of course, but I'm not the only voter. So don't feel pressured to create something to appease just me.
