Well, it's been a while since I've updated my journal. I would like to explain my reasons for not spending a lot of time on dA or on OIAI:

1. Finals are coming up, which means my professors are cramming all of the last-minute quizzes, exams, and big projects into the next two weeks. T.T

2. I'm still very burnt-out from this exhaustingly miserable school year, so my motivation is very low (sorry guys, hopefully the summer will help revive my motivation).

3. Adding to #3, my motivation for OIAI is particularly low because it is a time-consuming project. I will get back to it, but I still need to recover from this past year.

4. I'm currently obsessed with Rorschach and Team 8 right now, so expect fanart of that kind (though I do have sketches for a Deidara and Tobi humor comic as well).

There are so many messages and deviations from friends that I have yet to even look at, and I promise I'll get to it once my finals are done (almost there!). For now, a random survey I found:

I'm trying to figure that out right now, but I should probably ask my sister (since she's gotten over one ).

Sometimes, depending on my mood and the availability of colored pens.

I have a cold, so my head and throat hurts. My ankles hurt too, but I was born with pronating ankles, so that's normal.

Yes. I get it from my mom.

My cell phone plan does not allow me to send or receive text messages. My dad's old fashioned in the sense that he sees no point in sending a text when that same device can just call the person. :/

It's an up-and-down roller coaster. I'm starting to relatively like my life again, after a crushing year.

Yes, but I rarely show it, which unfortunately means I let it build inside over time. Little things can really irk me, but many people don't see that.

Alcohol? No.

[18] What is your biggest pet peeve?
Ignorance.

No, not really.

[20] Do any of your friends have kids?
No close friends.

[21] Do you know anyone that is pregnant right now?
Nope.

[22] Who should pay on the first date?
Depends on who asked whom and how expensive the date is.

[23] How many years older than you are you willing to date?
Honestly, I don't know. It depends on the person, really. I can see myself dating an older man (assuming I find a man in the first place), but I don't think my dad would be thrilled about it.

Yes, despite the friend drama I've been through. In the end, I'll always have *HatakeKelley, my twin sister.

[25] Do you have any mean friends?
Everyone can be mean at times. It would be naive to suggest that anyone can be completely "not mean." I know I can be mean when the chips are down, even though I mostly try to be nice and pleasant. And I learned that even the people I thought didn't have a single mean bone in their body would turn out to be just as petty and malicious as the rest of us.

No, but I've liked people that some of my friends couldn't stand.

Sometimes I think about the odds that gave me a twin sister. Does that count?

I make it a personal effort to not hate people. I dislike people, though.

No. When I do (and it's not often), it's just a bit of cover-up, mascara, and lip balm.

No, and I don't plan on getting one.

Uh, I think I do, but others are free to disagree.

Gah, I have so many heroes, and they change all of the time (save for Jesus and my parents, since they're always my heroes). Right now, I'd say Dwight D. Eisenhower, Rorschach, Jackie Earle Haley, Ronald Reagan, and Jennifer Aniston. And maybe Bill Nelson too, since he's impressed me as of late.
